Chelsea Oliver, Baradene College
Baradene College, Auckland: Chelsea Oliver, has been selected in the NZ Women’s Youth Water Polo team. Caitlin Potter (Y10) has been chosen to represent NZ at the Dance World Cup. Katie Bull (Y12) and Jenna Whiteman (Y10) Hip Hop troupe won a Gold Medal at the Global Dance Games. Honor Browne (Y13) has been awarded a scholarship by the Royal Society of NZ to attend Harry Messel’s International Science School in Sydney. Honor was one of 6 NZ students to be awarded this scholarship. Jamie Watson set two NZ records at the North Island Weightlifting Championships and placed first for juniors (U15) and first for her weight category. Kate Duncan, Sophia De Magalhaes have been invited to attend the NZ U17 Women’s Identification camp.
Carmel College, Auckland: Bene Catlin and Robyn Spark (Y12) have been named in the NZ Women’s Youth Water Polo team. Qaizden Stephano, (Y10) has been named in the U16 Samoan Basketball team to compete at the upcoming U16 FIBA Asian Championships.

St Mary’s College, Auckland: Gracyn Tomuli-Afoa and Olivia Pickering have been selected for the NZ Under 18 Women’s Water Polo team.
Tyler Wiles, Kingsway School
KingsWay School, Auckland: Tyler Wiles was a semi finalist in the U13 year Boys Singles and runner up in the U15 Year Doubles at the Fijian Open Tennis tournament.
Marcellin College, Auckland: Tray Lolesio (Y12) has signed up with the Vodafone Warriors until 2021.
Cullinane College, Whanganui: Cameron Daignault and Jacob Wylie won silver and bronze awards respectively. With the support of rest of the year 12 Physics class they answered 4760 questions over a week in the Education Perfect Science Competition and placed Cullinane College first in NZ and 6th in the world for their sized school.
Garin College, Nelson: Harry Pugh has been selected to represent NZ at the European Clay court tennis competition. Zac Griffiths competed at the NZ Gold Guitar Awards, where his band competed in the open band entry and made it to the Senior finals and were crowned winners.
Tobias Devereux, Kavanagh College
Kavanagh College, Dunedin: Tobias Devereux obtained a perfect score in the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking competition in the Australian Mathematics Trust Competition.
Sacred Heart Girls’ College, New Plymouth: Tara Stevens who was part of the Nakibots team that won their division in the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship. They placed 6th in the world across all 400 teams in the wider competition, in front of 20,000 spectators.
